Business Developent Executive
A Business Development Executives primary goal is to contribute new ideas for company growth. They use their knowledge of the company, its products and services to look for new ways to improve product quality and build off of existing offerings. Their job is to act as representatives of Social Link to connect with clients, obtain funding from stakeholders and investigate business leads. The Business Development Executive must also be able to write business proposals clearly to outline their ideas to senior executives.
Skills and Qualifications
A successful candidate for the Business Development Executive role should have various prerequisite skills and qualifications in order to handle their job duties effectively, including:
- Experience in both the project management and sales side of running a business
- Strong customer service and sales skills for generating leads
- Advanced presentation and persuasive skills
- Excellent leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for building meaningful relationships with clients
- Extensive knowledge of productivity tools and software
- Attention to detail and organization skills for honing in on each necessary task
- Advanced decision-making and problem-solving skills
A Business Development Executive will have a salary base plus commission with high unlimited potential. This salary may vary depending on the candidate’s experience and background.
Education and Training Requirements
The Business Development Executives typically has a bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as business administration, but Social Link may choose to hire candidates with a high school diploma and extensive work experience. In comparison. Individuals who have relevant certifications, such as the Certified Business Development Professional or Certified Business Development Expert credentials, also make good candidates.
Experience requirements for Business Development Executives will have many years of experience working as a Business Developer or in other related positions. Applicants should have experience. Candidates who have experience in sales management and digital marketing background are preferred.
Technical Skill Set
The preferred candidate will have experience using CRM’s such as Salesforce and Hubspot. You will interact with marketing and creative teams to produce content that brings new leads and nurtures customer relationships. Must have the ability to speak broadly about digital marketing and technical integrations. Will need to frequently conduct research on software solutions and find the answers for details outlined in scope of works.
